" Convincing illusion is my goal. Recordings that would illustrate subtle differences between all the components blended with the acoustics of the venue. Advanced techniques of miking the sound source, right polar patern and microphones placement for recording and amplification is a must." Marcin N.

"The chapel choir room was unlock so I've start the rig at six o'clock on the Sunday evening and the choir were scheduled to arrive at about seven. I've had an hour to get everything rigged and ready.

At the end of the day I've had over an hour of the material but after editing and discarding a couple of bad takes I've finished with 44 minutes, so just enough for the CD."

Podaj mi rękę (Give me Your hand) Composed and Performed by Marcin Weresa

This recording of Marcin reveal his true talent.
This time, the Acoustic Guitar and Cajon are filling the space around his voice with full worm tonality.
The mic on the guitar was placed within few inch from the threat
(close miking) to reduce extraneous noise, including room reverberation.
The Cajon was miked by SM 57 on bass inn and AKG CE300 on the front to get the higher frequencies.

Equipment used for recording:

Shure SM 57 dynamic microphone - Guitar, Cajon
AKG SE 300 frame and CK 91 cardioid capsule- Vocal
XENYX UFX1204 Mixer/Interface/hearback
Praise & Worship Music composed and performed by Mariusz Smialek
This recordings of Mariusz are simple recordings (soloist and acoustic guitar) captured by  tracking as well as overdubs techniqe. The stereo microphone technique known as ORTF or near-coincident with two cardioid mics of the same type and manufacture with the two capsules placed 17cm of each other and axes of maximum 110 degrees was used for this application.
With the reverberation time (Rt60) close to 0.6ms we get a subtle mix of live guitar and strong vocals. Recording took us 6 hours, three stages of three days which was far before the deadline.

Equipment used for recording:

Vocal mic- Neuman U87
Guit. mic-  2 Oktava MK- 012
